The Grand Island Foundation (for education) has established a distinguished alumni award committee to recognize outstanding alumni from Grand Island High School and is now requesting nominations. Criteria for this award are
The award recipients will be honored in the spring of 2007.
At this time the committee is also seeking financial support. The Grand Island Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed in 1998. It was established in order to gather and channel contributions and distribute grants for the benefit of the Grand Island Central Schools. Since its inception, the Foundation has funded more than $10,000 in grants for equipment and enrichment materials to Grand Island students.
Your contribution is completely tax deductible. Checks can be made payable to the Grand Island Foundation and mailed to P.O. Box 1183, Grand Island, NY 14072. Please note on your check "for distinguished alumni award.” We thank you in advance for your nominations and support.
