Crew Member, Packaging - August 2004

Our state-of-the-art Grand Island manufacturing facility has immediate openings in our Packaging Department.
High school diploma or equivalency a must. Basic problem solving and good communication skills are required. Attention to detail is mandatory.

Responsibilities include:

Visual inspection of packaged product throughout the manufacturing process and packaging cartons into shippers.

Must be capable of lifting up to 40 lbs. of various packaging inspection materials and equipment.

Must be capable of doing repetitive work with high-speed machinery, which typically produces 200 units per minute.

Part Time Crossing Guard Substitute Wanted - August 2004

A crossing guard part-time substitute position has been announced by the Town of Grand Island. The position requires a responsible individual with flexible daytime hours to substitute for permanent crossing guards, to assist school children in crossing traffic intersections at an assigned post during hours when children are entering or leaving school. Two vacancies exist.
