The lottery for the slips that become available this year will be held at 10 a.m. March 2 at the Beaver Island State Park Office.

Lottery applications are available there from 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Completed applications, a copy of the current boat registration and a $5 nonrefundable fee are required to be eligible for the lottery drawing.

Applications will be accepted by mail or in person at the office until Feb. 27. Applications delivered or postmarked after Feb. 27 will not be accepted.
