ROSANNA M. RUSSELL

Rosanna M. Russell entered into rest October 11, 2009.  She was a resident of Grand Island.

She is survived by her beloved children, Anthony Aughtmon and Rosalie Russell. She was the cherished daughter of David and Roxanne Russell and the phenomenal sister of Theresa Giambra and David (Kellie) Russell. She was the fabulous aunt of Michael, Grace, Max, Tyler and Joseph.  The prior spouse and best friend of Ron Aughtmon and the adored mama of "Sugar".  She also was the surrogate mom to the Grand Island Vipers Softball Team and a loving friend to all who knew her.

Friends may call Wednesday 2-8 PM at the Kaiser Funeral Home, 1950 Whitehaven Rd., Grand Island. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 AM at St. Stephen's Church, 2100 Baseline Rd., Grand Island.  Interment will be in St. Stephen's Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to Roswell Park Cancer Institute or the SPCA.

Rosanna was the assistant director at the Heritage Center on Grand Island.  She also formerly taught religious education for St. Stephen's Church.
