Kenmore East Grad Earns 101.13% GPA
Heather Meyer, Granddaughter Of Former Residents


   Heather Meyer is graduating from Kenmore East High School with a 101.13% grade point average. She is ranked 8th out of the 310 seniors in her class. Heather has taken all Honors and AP classes throughout her high school career. Accepting a full scholarship, she will study Elementary Education and Spanish Education at Niagara University where she will participate in the Honors Program.
   Heather is involved in numerous school and community based activities. She is a member of the Ken-Ton Figure Skating Club, and has played on both her school's JV and Varsity Volleyball teams where she was deemed a Scholar Athlete. She is the secretary-treasurer of National Honor Society, and Spanish Club co-vice president. She has won many awards to show her dedication to leadership, involvement and education. She volunteers her time through Peer Tutoring, Peer Team, and B.A.S.E. to make her community a better place.
   Heather is the daughter of Michael and Nancy Meyer of Tonawanda, and the granddaughter of Mike and Dodie Meyer of Kenmore. She is also the great granddaughter of the late William and Bernice Dekdebrun of Grand Island.
