Niagara Gazette - North Tonawanda beat Grand Island in four games and Lockport held up its end of the bargain against Niagara Falls as the Niagara Frontier League girls volleyball season ended the Lady Jacks, Vikings and Lions in a three-way tie for first at 12-2.

The Vikings beat No. 9 Lake Shore 4-0 on Monday and Coach Frank Butcher hopes the dominant performance is a sign that his team is hitting its stride. "We haven't had the greatest results this season but we're reaching our peak right at the right time," Butcher said. "If we play like we did (Monday) we have a good chance of winning."
