The Vikings boys team (2-0) loses four starters from a squad that went 10-4 last season, good for a tie for second in the NFL. Senior captains Brian Brink and Nick Colao (third team all NFL) will lead Grand Island this winter, with Ryan Digati and Tommy Kalman in the rotation as well. Klaman leads the league in high average (234,44) and is second in high series (705) with two matches played. Vikings Coach Craig Davis also expects good showings from sophomore Tyler Mondoux and Sam Colao, with Joe Toregrossa and Allen Knutson filling in for the Vikings.
The Viking girls (0-2) look to improve on a 2-12 finish last season and return its entire staring squad from last year. Returning captains Korin Frantz won the Lou Marcantonio award last season, and Rachel Spiker, Beth Mclean and Jenelle Walters rounding out the Vikings senior class. Grand Island bowls its home matches at Island Lanes.
