Sports Briefs - January 3, 2013

NFHS Festival of Lights Holiday Tournament at AMF Thruway Lanes
The Grand Island Boys Bowling Team placed 2nd to Niagara Wheatfield in the event held over the holiday break. Twenty-seven teams participated.
GI was led by Joe Torregrossa with 1822 pins, other highlights; Tyler Mondoux had a 287 game, Colton McGraw 1205 pin total and Sam Colao 1244.
