The product is called Pro-Freshionals Tomato SLicer. We bought it at Walmart of $4.96. It promises to be great for cutting even slices of tomatoes or mushrooms.

The product is stainless steel and dishwasher safe.

We gave it a shot. Danielle tried pushing. She tried slicing. Nothing worked. It is a bit easier when holding the tomato, but that seems a bit dangerous.

It was clear... this product was not cutting it when it comes to tomatoes... so we tried mushrooms. It didn't work for mushrooms either.

This product gets thumbs down. The company says they have a 100 percent refund policy if you are not happy.
