Candidates for several statewide offices will be on the ballot in Tuesday's primary election, including the race for governor, state attorney general and U.S. senator.

On the Democratic line, voters will decide between Thomas R. Suozzi and Eliot Spitzer in the governor's race; Charles G. King, Mark Green, Andrew M. Cuomo and Sean Patrick Maloney for the attorney general nod; and Jonathan B. Tasini and incumbent Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton for her seat in the U.S. Senate.

On the Republican line, K.T. McFarland and John Spencer are vying for their party's nomination for the Senate.

Voting will take place between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. in Erie County, while polls in other Western New York counties will be open from noon to 9 p.m.
