GRAND ISLAND SOCCER CLUB REGISTRATION

Registration deadline: March 15

The Grand Island Soccer Club will be holding registration for the Summer 2005 “house” soccer season on Saturday, March 5, 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the M.O.G. (Medically Oriented Gym), at 1801 Grand Island Blvd. And again on Saturday, March 12, 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Technology Camp of America located at 2090 Grand Island Blvd. First time GISC players must bring a copy of their birth certificate.

Or you may register by mail…applications are available at the Grand Island Library, the Town Hall or online at www.gisoccerclub.org . All applications must be postmarked by March 15.

The Grand Island Soccer Club “house” league provides basic instruction and is intended to be a “FUN” league promoting fair play, good sportsmanship and teamwork for the youth (ages 5 – 15) of Grand Island.

Games are played in July and August on Saturday and one evening during the week.

Each player will receive a team shirt, shorts and socks from the league. However, every player should have an appropriate sized soccer ball for their age group.

U6: size 3, U7 – U12: size 4 and U15: size 5.

Coaches, assistant coaches, volunteers to work at the picnic, or help with Club administration are needed. Please check page two of the application and let us know how you can help.

Applications must be postmarked by March 15. Applications received after the March 15 deadline will be placed on a waiting list and may not be placed on a team. Please get your application in before the deadline!
