GI Soccer Club Sets Travel 2005 Tryouts

PLEASE NOTE:

Travel involves making a COMMITMENT to the team

by being at GAMES & PRACTICES.

Attendance at practices may affect playing time.

Travel soccer teams play competitive games one evening during the week against clubs from communities from Youngstown to Angola. Weekend tournaments may be entered at each team’s discretion.  The season will begin in early May and run through early August 2005.

The games are played on the following days of the week:

U10 – Friday

U11 & U12 – Monday

U13 & U14 – Tuesday

U15 & U16 – Thursday

U17, U18 & U19 - Wednesday

Existing teams will continue to use the same uniform as last year.  A Part 2 – Registration form will be distributed by the coaches to the players chosen for his team.  This form includes a uniform order.  All players must return this form whether they are ordering a uniform or not. 

A complete uniform is $50.00: Jersey - $35, and Shorts - $15.

ALL PLAYERS MUST REGISTER WITH PAYMENT OF $75

AT THE CONCESSION STAND 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO TRY-OUTS

If you do not make the team, your $75.00 will be returned.

Once placed on a roster, there will be no refunds.

You are required to attend at least one try-out session

but you are encouraged to attend both try-out sessions.

Players may try out for more than one age group but can only play on one team in the league.  (You must notify Registration if you are trying-out for more than one age group when you check in. League policy allows a player to qualify for an older age bracket, but not a younger one.  If you are considering playing up more than one year, it must be approved by the Board of Directors.

Everyone wishing to play Grand Island Travel Soccer

must be born after July 31, 1985 and before August 1, 1997
