Grand Island 11, Cardinal O'Hara 4
Grand Island's Boys Hockey Team ended its season Saturday, February 7, 2004 with a 11-4 win over Cardinal O'Hara. Leading the scoring for GI was Andrew Marrs with three goals. Mike Parisi, Mark Kramer and Jamie Holka had two each. chris Dlugokinski and Jeff bull also scored. GI lost on Friday, February 6, 2004 to Depew 8-6. Scoring for GI were Marrs and Holka with two goals each and Adam Ungaro and Chris Mehltretter. Grand Island takes a 10-8-1 record into the sectionals.

Girls Basketball - Friday, February 6, 2004
Grand Island defeated Niagara-Wheatfield, 58-47 at Niagara Wheatfield. The Lady Vikings had a 33-19 halftime lead. Megan MacGuire led the scoring with 22 points and Ashleigh Frieday added 18. Others scoring for Grand Island were Duda 9, Nedwick 2, Skelly 2, and Ja. Stickl 5. 3-point goals were scored by Duda, Frieday, MacGuire and, Kroening

Grand Island lost to Niagara-Wheatfield 63-48 at home. Scoring for GI were Kern 18, K. Hajnos 6, Chambers 12, M. Corrao 4, R. Corrao 2, and Breier 6. 3-point goal: Kern 3, K. Hajnos.

Girls Basketball - Tuesday, February 10, 2004 at home
Grand Island 43, North Tonawanda 42
Ashleigh Frieday led the scoring with 15 points and seven rebounds. Also scoring for the Lady Vikings were Duda (7), MacGuire (5), McLeod (1), Nedwick (3), Remmes (3), Skelly (2), Ja. Stickl (7).
At halftime Grand Island was behind 18-23. 3-point goals: Duda, MacGuire, Remmes.

The Vikings' Brett Kern scored a game-high 20 points. Also scoring for the Vikings were K. Hajnos 8, Chambers 4, Corrao 2, Breier 4, Gadowski 4.
