Craig Kosnikowski threw all eight innings, giving up six hits, and drove in the winning run in the top of the eighth as North Tonawanda (10-4) edged Grand Island, 1-0, and brought both teams to 7-4 in the league. Grand Island's Ryan Breier gave up just three hits and struck out 12 while also going 3 for 4 at the plate

Grand Island moved to 11-1 on the year with a 5-0 win over Lockport. The team is in first place and will face Niagara Wheatfield on Monday to decide the league title. Niagara Falls and Niagara Wheatfield both are a match back with identical 10 and 2 records.
