BOSTON, Mass.- The final day of the ECAC Championship event was intense for the Niagara swimming and diving teams, with sophomore diver Ian O'Rourke (Grand Island, N.Y.) picking up the 2009 ECAC Men's Diver of the Meet award.

The Western New York native was able to win the one-meter diving event on Friday with a score of 274.85, but finished second in the three-meter event to MAAC rival Brendan Cavallaro from Rider. O'Rourke swept both events at the 2009 MAAC Championships, where he was also named Diver of the Meet. The business major will be back in action on March 13th at the NCAA Zone-A Meet.
