Grand Island 23, Lew-Port 6: Jeff Bull rushed for 179 yards on 29 carries and scored on a 4-yard run for the No. 6 large school Vikings (4-1). Pat McCarthy and Casey O'Brien (two sacks) had nine tackles each. Mike Feathers kicked his fourth FG of the season, a 30-yarder.
Lew-Port RB Joe Cerminara was kept in check after breaking loose for an 80-yard TD run on the first play from scrimmage.

Girls Soccer
A highly-anticipated NFL rematch on Friday afternoon is in girls soccer as unbeaten Kenmore West plays at Grand Island at 4:30 p.m. The Blue Devils upset the Vikings, 4-1, on Sept. 16, handing Grand Island its first league loss in more than three seasons.

Boys Volleyball
In boys volleyball, the sixth annual Lockport Boosters Invitational is Saturday. Defending champion Lake Shore joins the field along with West Seneca West, Iroquois, Depew, Grand Island, North Tonawanda, Niagara Falls and Lockport. The finals are scheduled for 3 p.m.
