Grand Island 41, Starpoint 14: Mike Blocho rushed for 160 yards and scored three times to pace the Vikings. On defense Pat McCarthy had 15 tackles, Shawn Crowley returned a fumble 16 yards for a score and Bill Breier intercepted a pass and returned it 47 yards for a TD. The Vikings broke the game open with 22 points in the second quarter.
