Stacy Clark grew up in Grand Island and made a name for herself locally, before heading west — way west, as it turns out. Clark now makes her home in Orange County, Calif., where she has been perfecting her blend of folk, soul, pop, rock and even electro- pop for the past few years.
Clark comes home for the holidays this year, and brings a new album — “Apples and Oranges” — as a Christmas gift. Clark will headline a bill inside Staples, 253 Allen St., beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday.
Sharing the bill will be Standing Audition and Michael DiSanto. Clark’s set sits smack in the middle of the evening’s festivities, at 9 p.m.
Admission for the 18-andover show will be $5 at the door. More information and song samples from Clark’s “Apples and Oranges” album can be found at either www.myspace.com/stacyclark or www.stacyclark.net. — Jeff Miers
