A public hearing was held at 8:00 P.M. for purpose of hearing anyone who wanted to make comments in favor of or in opposition of the proposed Local Law #5/2005 to consider removing the Mid Island (Loop) Parkway from the Town’s official map.

A public hearing was held at 8:00 P.M. for purpose of hearing anyone who wanted to make comments and suggestions for use of Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funds.

Niagara County Water District – 4251 West River Parkway – Site Plan Approval/Communication Tower

A motion was made by Councilman Crawford, seconded by Councilwoman Cooke to accept the recommendation of the Planning Board and grant Site Plan Approval to Niagara County Water District to erect a 120’ Communication Tower at 4251 West River Parkway for the Department of Homeland Security.

WATER/WASTEWATER DEPARTMENT:

Authorization to Renew Co-op Resolution with the City of Niagara Falls

A motion was made by Councilwoman Cooke, seconded by Councilman Crawford to authorize the Supervisor to sign the renewal of the cooperative purchasing agreement, for a period of one year between the Town of Grand Island and the City of Niagara Falls, authorizing Niagara Falls to act as the lead agency to solicit bids and with Grand Island participating in the purchasing co-op, upon the terms and conditions recommended for purchase of chemical used in the treatment of water and wastewater.
