A regular meeting of the Town Board of Grand Island, New York was held at the Town Hall, 2255 Baseline Rd., Grand Island, NY at 8:00p.m. on the 2nd of February, 2009.

Authorize Supervisor to Submit – Erie County PO-17’s

A motion was made by Councilwoman Cooke, seconded by Councilwoman Argy to authorize the Supervisor to submit PO-17 forms to Erie County Personnel for the following positions:

              Recreation Attendant Part-Time Seasonal

              Laborer Part-Time Seasonal

Local Law Intro #1 of 2009 – Moratorium on Ponds

A motion was made by Councilman Roesch, seconded by Councilwoman Argy to refer Local Law Intro #1 of 2009 – Moratorium on Ponds to the Planning Board for review and recommendation.

A motion was made by Councilwoman Cooke, seconded by Councilwoman Argy to set a Public Hearing for Monday, March 3, 2009 at 8:00p.m.for the purpose of hearing anyone who want to make comments in favor or in opposition to Local Law Intro #1 of 2009 – Moratorium on Ponds.

Authorize Supervisor to Sign Contracts – Water/Wastewater Service – Beaver Island State Park

A motion was made by Councilwoman Argy, seconded by Councilwoman Cooke to authorize the Supervisor to sign a contract with the Office of Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation for water service to Beaver Island State Park at a cost of $3.74/per 1,000 gallons.

A motion was made by Councilwoman Cooke, seconded by Councilwoman Argy to authorize the Supervisor to sign a contract with the Office of Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation for wastewater service to Beaver Island State Park at a cost of $8.33/per 1,000 gallons.

Authorize Supervisor to Sign – License Agreement – National Fuel Gas Distribution Corporation

A motion was made by Councilwoman Cooke, seconded by Councilman Roesch to authorize the Supervisor to sign a license agreement with National Fuel Gas Distribution Corporation for extension of an emergency generator gas line at the Water Treatment Plant.
