Bridge lanes to be closed for state inspections

One lane in each direction on the South Grand Island bridges will be closed for
parts of each day this weekend as part of a bridge inspection, the State Thruway
Authority said Friday.
One southbound lane will be closed from 6 a.m. to noon today, while one
northbound lane will be closed from 6 a.m. to noon Sunday. Minimal to moderate
delays are expected.
