A 66-year-old Grand Island man who pleaded guilty in August to possession of child pornography was sentenced Wednesday to five years in federal prison, U.S. Attorney Terrance P. Flynn announced.

Hans Sterzelbach, who was sentenced by U.S. District Judge William M. Skretny, was arrested after he agreed to trade child porn videos over the Internet with an undercover FBI agent in 2003 and 2004.

On June 10, 2004, agents seized Sterzelbach’s computer and found images of child pornography on it.

In addition to the 60-month sentence, Sterzelbach was ordered to pay a $1,000 fine. He also will be on supervised release for 10 years after he is released from prison.
