Police broke up an underage drinking party on Grand Island late Saturday night after they were called about loud music in a Bedell Road apartment. Eight underage partierss and one adult were arrested.
Erie County Sheriff’s Deputies Adam Imiolo and Mike Haug and Grand Island part-time Officer Christopher Soluri charged all eight underage drinkers with violations.
In addition, James R. Vinovrski, 21, of the Bedell Road address, and four of the underage drinkers — ages 16 to 20 — were charged with endangering the welfare of a child because four teens at the party were under 16. The four juveniles were petitioned to Family Court for the drinking infractions and three of them were petitioned to family court for allegedly stealing about $200 from an acquintants to buy alcohol. Deputies recovered $106 of the stolen money.
