Burglar gets 6 months, then 5 years’ probation

LOCKPORT—A Grand Island man who admitted to third-degree burglary will start a five-year probation term with six months in Niagara County Jail, County Judge Matthew J. Murphy III ordered Wednesday.

Eric Robinson, 23, of Ransom Road, accepted a plea deal Aug. 31 after being charged with two house burglaries in Cambria and one in Wilson, all in February. A co-defendant, Samar Abdellatif, 21, of East River Road, Grand Island, is awaiting sentencing, and a third suspect remains at large.
