LOCKPORT — A Grand Island woman pleaded guilty Wednesday to using a North Tonawanda woman’s personal information to obtain several credit cards.

Wendy H. Pachla, 56, of West Oak-field Road, admitted to second-degree identity theft. Niagara County Judge Matthew J. Murphy III scheduled sentencing for May 2. Assistant District Attorney Brian D. Seaman said Pachla was accused by police of ringing up some $13,000 in purchases between February and August 2007, although a restitution amount is still to be determined.

In another case Wednesday, Michael A. White, 22, of Rochester, pleaded not guilty to third-degree grand larceny and second-degree forgery. He is accused of stealing a Lockport man’s motorcycle July 17 and forging a bill of sale to make it look like the cycle had been sold to him.
