A Grand Island man faces grand larceny and other charges after he was found in possession of several thousand dollars worth of stolen construction tools, Erie County sheriff’s deputies said.
Steven Danaher, 25, of West River Road, was arrested last week near his home. Sheriff’s Detective Dennis Fitzgibbons made the arrest following a tip.
The department recovered all of the construction tools from a South Buffalo residence.
The tools were stolen from a building site on Greenside Drive on Grand Island.
In addition to grand larceny, Danaher also was charged with possessing stolen property and trespassing, deputies said
