Allow a little extra time for getting across Grand Island during the late morning and midday hours today and Friday.
The state Department of Transportation reports that, due to pavement-marking work, there will be lane restrictions all along the northbound and southbound I-190 between the North Grand Island Bridge toll plaza and the South Bridge toll plaza from 9 a. m. to 1 p. m. both days. All ramps onto the I-190 on Grand Island also will be reduced to a single lane.
