The
evening will consist of 5 wines and 4 food courses. It will also provide the
opportunity to those attending to preorder any of the wines tasted that evening
for up to 20 % off regular prices.
Aperitif:
Antinori “Campogrande” Orvieto paired with Grilled focaccio with
basil pesto, herbed olive oil & roasted red pepper spread.
First
Course: Antinori
“Castello della Sala” Chardonnay paired with a salad of baby greens, poached
pear, candied walnuts, crumbled Gorgonzola and a balsamic vinaigrette.
Second
Course: Michele Chiarlo
Barbera d’Asti paired with baked Manicotti stuffed with herbed goat cheese,
porcini mushroom caponata and sage-butter sauce.
Third
Course: Tenuta del
Terriccio Tassinaia paired with veal osso buco in a tomato-basil bolognese
sauce, parmigiano-romano gremolada and risotto florentine.
Dessert:
Michele Chiarlo “Nivole” Moscato d’Asti paired with mascarpone
cheesecake and roasted peach semifreddo.
