Our next wine dinner.
The
evening will consist of 5 wines and 4 food courses. It will also provide the
opportunity to those attending to preorder any of the wines tasted that evening
for up to 20 % off regular prices.
Aperitif:
Chappellet Dry Chenin Blanc paired with a bread bowl with smoked Gouda
cheese dip and a mango-curry-cilantro dip with fresh fruit.
First
Course: Byington
Chardonnay paired with Salpicon of shellfish with fresh avocado slices.
Second
Course: Foppiano
Zinfandel paired with red chile and honey barbecue chicken lollipops, smoked
applewood bacon and blue cheese dressing and roasted corn and tomatillo salsa.
Third
Course: Foppiano
Cabernet Sauvignon paired with roast venison chop with an Adobo dry rub,
concentrated berry sauce, molasses sweet potatoes and grilled vegetables.
Dessert:
Warre’s Warrior Port paired with a dessert platter of assorted
California cheeses, nuts, chocolates and figs.
