GIV - Grand Island Volunteers
Dedicated, Community Minded Grand Island High School Students
We have come together and defined ourselves as follows:
"It is the mission of the Grand Island Volunteers (GIV) to make our school and
community a better place by meeting unmet needs."
This responsible and spirited youth group is available to assist you whenever and wherever possible. We know that certain charity events require more labor than possibly your membership can provide. This is where we can help.
When you are planning an event or just have a special occasion, we would appreciate it if you would keep us in mind. Our group is extremely diverse and talented. Given the opportunity, we could help you to help others.
If you have any questions or issues, our Advisor is Dr. Paul Fields, Superintendent of Grand Island Schools. Dr. Fields may be contacted at 773-8801. If you have an idea for our group and wish to set something up, you may contact Kali Mordaunt at (716) 773-9037.
On behalf of GIV, we want to express our great appreciation for your
consideration of our proposal and, in advance, for the opportunity to help others and to hopefully make this a better community. You will help us in our
mission if you are able to include us so that we may GIV to others.
If you are a member of this organization, we need your help. GIECOM.Net has partnered with the Connections program to help Grand Island as a community "Get it Together." Please visit our website G-I-Together.ORG and fill out our SURVEY. Every group on Grand Island will have its own FREE web page showing: meeting times and location, contact persons, your Mission Statement and a listing of events. We will also be linking your news events that appear in the local media and on IsledeGrande.Com, Grand Island's E-News Source, to your page, maintaining an archived journal of pictures and news. This is the perfect opportunity for your group to connect with potential new members and the community.
