The Falconwood is a premier waterfront venue. Situated in the 1,000 acre Beaver Island State Park, there are endless options to create events where no two are the same. The concessionaire, Montana International, who has a 20-year contract with the State of New York took over the space in 2019 after it sat vacant for a few years. Just as they started booking events and building business, the world stopped spinning in 2020. It took a good couple of years before getting back on track post-Covid, but we are now booking years out and winning awards for our guest experiences! Montana International, owned by Cyndy Montana, is incredibly proud of her team who has cultivated a warm, professional and unforgettable experience for our guests.
Our events can also extend beyond The Falconwood walls. Wedding ceremonies can take place on the beach, in a wooded grove, on The Terrace, or the lawn or even at the marinas, if the desire strikes you! Whether you are planning an intimate gathering of 15 or a festival of 3000 we have a space just for you. Smaller events like rehearsal dinners and showers may choose from either Bogey’s, the sports bar/restaurant at the golf course or the outdoor restaurant overlooking the Niagara River, The V’Randa. The expansive park offers great locations for concerts and festivals, or maybe the golf course is a better fit for your event! Welcome V'Randa at Beaver Island
The V'Randa at Beaver Island State Park opened in 2020 in response to the need for outdoor dining by the concessionaire to the New York State Parks on Grand Island. It is a beautiful covered area overlooking the Niagara River on one side and Beaver Island Golf Course on the other.
Verandah at Crackholm Farm
The V'Randa is a tribute to the parents of the concessionaire, Cyndy Montana, and the farm she grew up on. The verandah at Crackholm Farm is where she and her family would sit and rest, enjoy the view, eat dinner, have a beverage, celebrate and even honor loved ones. Those are all the things she wants guests at The V'Randa to experience. The spelling variation comes from how fast her Dad talked. He was an auctioneer!
The menu is unique and diverse (with lots of GF options)! With a beautiful & creative cocktail/mocktail list and a full bar, it is a great place to simply come and relax. The V'Randa is open Wednesday through Friday for dinner service at 5 pm and for brunch only on Saturday & Sunday. The V is available for private parties on Saturday nights.
