Cinderella Isle Garden Club Meeting - February 2010
A meeting will be held in Trinity United Methodist Church at 7 p.m. February 17. The speaker will be Judy Tucholski-Zon, current District 8 Director and past president of the WNY Iris Society. Cinderella Isle Garden Club will hold its annual indoor plant sale to benefit the plantings at the Grand Island Memorial Library. It will be held Friday, February 11 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Community Room at the Library. For those looking for that special Valentine gift, this is the place to be. There will not only be wonderful plants, but also crafts and baked goods. Don't forget, house plants are good for your health especially in the winter when the house is closed up and the furnace is on! The benefits are that they provide moisture and also help cleanse the air of toxins during this time! They help to lift your spirits on a cold, gloomy day and remind us of the promise of spring. To all those who enjoy the wonderful gardens at the Library entrance each year, this is your opportunity to support the gardeners that give of their talents to bring you this beautiful display.
