Business meetings and programs the second Tuesday of each month
Ideas:
Continuing Club projects:
• Maintain foyer garden at Kaegebein Elementary School
• Maintain outdoor garden at Sidway Elementary School
Plant trees in memory of deceased members or spouses.
• Decorate for Christmas at River Lea Historical Site, Beaver Island State Park, Grand Island.
• Members will receive horticultural information at each monthly meeting covering a specific topic.
• Environmental and conservation topics of interest and importance are presented each month.
• Contributions are made to Figure 8 and Grand Island Historical Society. Orientation of New Members.
• As new members join, they will be given an orientation period to inform them about community projects and floral design.
• The committee will give several lessons in basic floral design for home and flower shows.
• History Project - The club officers will continue an organized archiving of the East Park Garden Club’s 55 years of history for posterity.
ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP DUTIES
Each Member Must:
Have a garden and work in it.
Be willing to hold elected and appointed offices.
Actively participate in Flower Shows.
Participate in the monthly program as scheduled in the yearbook.
Be willing to serve as hostess for at least one meeting per year. The hostess shall prepare and serve refreshments, and create a table arrangement.
In addition, the hostess shall care for the Kaegebein Garden for that assigned month.
Gather knowledge and share with members.
Encourage members to attend scheduled group tours.




East Park Garden Club Plant Sale - May 2016

    The East Park Garden Club Annual Plant Sale is on Saturday, May 21st at the Town Commons Gazebo from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. A variety of plants will be available for spring planting. For information call 773-1787.




East Park Garden Club Plant Sale - May 2015

    The East Park Garden Club will hold it's annual plant sale on Saturday, May 16th from 9-3 PM at the Grand Island Town Hall on Baseline Road. A variety of perennials will be available for sale as well as house plants.




East Park Garden Club Annual Picnic - August 2013

   The East Park Garden Club annual picnic will be at Beaver Island State Park on Thursday, August 15th at 6:00 p.m. Contact Krista at 984-2645.







East Park Garden Club Garage & Plant Sale - August 2011

   The members of the East Park Garden Club will hold a Garage and Plant Sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 3660 East River Road.







East Park Garden Club Meeting - June 2011

   The East Park Garden Club will meet 7 p.m. June 14, 2011 at the Island Presbyterian Church, 1822 Huth Road. The program will feature Peter Diachun, Master Gardener speaking on "Roses, Selection and Care of Roses." Guests and newcomers are welcome. Call 773-1787 for further information.
