Edward M. Cotter Fireboat - June 2023

   Jeff Cooke, Sr. took this photo of the Edward M. Cotter fireboat on Sunday, June 4th near the south Grand Island Bridge. It was built in 1900 and rebuilt in 1953. It is considered to be the oldest active fireboat in the world. It is also used as an icebreaker on the Buffalo rivers in winter.
