Relay For Life 2024 Upcoming Events - April 2024

   Relay For Life 2024 announces upcoming events. Paint the Town Purple is Saturday, April 27th at Town Commons. Purple Ribbon Warrior 5K is on Saturday, May 18th at Beaver Island State Park. The Father’s Day Lawnmower Race event is on Sunday, June 16th on West River Road. The Friends of Lynnette Slow Roll for Relay is on Saturday, July 20th. Relay For Life is at Town Commons on Sunday, June 2nd.

   Krispy Kreme Dozen Sale for Relay For Life. See FLYER.
   6th Annual Purple Ribbon Warrior 5K in memory of Mary Dunbar-Daluisio will take place on Saturday, May 18th at 10:00 a.m. at Beaver Island State Park. See FLYER.

Crockpot Cook-Off set for next Tuesday - February 2024

    The annual crockpot cook-off to benefit Relay for Life will be held at 6 p.m., Feb. 13, at Ellden’s. 201 Whitehaven Road. It will feature a meal and dessert, which will be offered free to anyone who wants to judge the food, along with a cash bar. There will be a Mardi Gras theme. The two categories that participants can compete in are meal and dessert. The cost is $5 to enter a crockpot. The winners will receive a trophy, and the money will be split. According to Lynn Dingey, a co-coordinator of Relay for Life, that money will be donated to the team of choice of the winners. "Invite your family and friends to join us with a crockpot of their own or as a judge," Dingey said.
