With almost 70 teams coming from Western and Central NY, Lower Ontario, and Maryland we will make a lot for the league that will go toward more capital improvements. Three fields have been completed so far with expanded dugouts and permanent roofs. We have 5 more fields remaining.
Many local businesses will be benefiting as well as teams stay at Island hotels and campsites, eat at Island restaurants, and tour the area. Thanks to Craig Reynolds, our Umpire Chief, we also have some of the best Little League umpires coming from Canada, CNY, PA, Aruba , and Curacao to call the games! This is a real international event!
I invite all of you to check out the action, have a taco-in-a-bag and a pop at our awesome snack stand, take a picture or two for the Island news, and say hello. We hope to see you at Veterans Park!
